| HISTORY |
 |
Blessed Angels, Inc. was birthed in the heart of its founder, Christine Washington in early 2007. As a result of becoming unemployed many years ago. Ms. Washington and her two children became homeless and had to stay in transitional housing for 8 months at Spring House located in Eatontown New Jersey. It was a few years later that God gave her a vision to help deliver His Blessings to homeless families and individuals throughout the metro-Atlanta area. With a new mindset, passion, and desire, Ms. Washington committed herself to helping meet the short- and long-term needs of the homeless community. Blessed Angels, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization that has been dedicated to providing service to hundreds of homeless men, women, and children throughout the Metropolitan Atlanta area since June 2007.

The organization’s passion is ignited by the enormous needs of homeless families and individuals; many of whom suffer from drug, alcohol, domestic abuse, loss of employment, and related mental health issues. Sometimes, these problems result in homeless individuals engaging in criminal activity, leading to incarceration, institutional living, and sometimes even death.
Blessed Angels, Inc. strives to improve the lives of these homeless families and individuals by providing them with food, clothing, employment referrals, spiritual guidance and eventually shelter, housing assistance, and various life-skills and career educational activities. These efforts enable homeless families and individuals to seek a better way of life and become self-sufficient and productive leaders in their communities.
